Filtration systems for safe and sustainable industrial production—and also for skilled trades—cannot be designed “just like that”. The most important factor for an optimal filtration system is our customers’ process engineering. What needs to be separated must first be understood in detail. For this reason, we primarily develop customer-specific solutions, which are particularly interesting in OEM projects and for original equipment manufacturers. Frequently asked questions about our customer-specific solutions
Is communication between the filtration system and the machine possible via an electrical interface?
Yes. LTA filtration systems can be connected to all common machine controls. The interface to the machine can be individually configured and provided by LTA if required.
Possible signals include: operational readiness, maintenance notification, fault notification, and volume flow monitoring. Control via external control panels or integration into an existing building management system is also possible and is regularly implemented by us.
Is it true that electrostatic filters cannot be used with emulsion?
No, this is a widespread misconception. Electrostatic filters can also be used reliably with emulsions, provided there is a sufficient oil content of at least 5%.
In practice, LTA filtration systems have proven themselves for many years with numerous customers who use emulsion-based coolants. The specific application is always decisive, which we individually evaluate and design.
Can the color of the system be chosen?
Yes. In our internal paint shop, we can customize the color scheme of our products to your individual requirements. This allows the filtration system to be matched to the machine design, corporate colors, or existing specifications in the production environment.
Is it possible to position the filter on the machine?
Yes. Depending on the machine and application, we offer various options for positioning the filtration system directly on the machine.
These include individually tailored consoles, brackets, or custom solutions that enable safe and space-saving integration.
Are there solutions for extracting emulsion mist from open machines?
Yes. There are also various options for effectively capturing emulsion mist from open machines.
Depending on the process, extraction can be performed directly at the source, via suitable extraction hoods, or through individually developed capture concepts. The solution is tailored to your machine, the machining process, and the on-site conditions.
