E 800-1 – Central electrostatic extraction for clean air in production

Modern production halls with multiple machine tools generate large quantities of the finest oil and emulsion mist. Powerful central suction systems are required to reliably capture these emissions while ensuring energy efficiency, process reliability, and sustainability.

With the E 800-1, LTA offers an electrostatic central suction solution that has been specifically developed for group and hall suction applications and has proven itself in industry worldwide.

Powerful and central – ideal for multiple machines

The E 800-1 is designed for suction capacities of 8,000 to 10,000 m³/h and is ideally suited for:

  • Group suction for multiple machine tools

  • central suction concepts in production halls

  • Applications with oil and emulsion mist

  • Automated manufacturing with continuous operation

In the example shown, the E 800-1 is integrated as a central system into an existing production environment and connected to the machines via a piping system. This allows the coolant lubricant mist to be captured directly at the source and separated centrally.

Electrostatic filtration principle – efficient and sustainable

The E 800-1 operates with a single-stage electrostatic filtration principle, which already consists of several functional components:

  • Pre-filter for separating coarse particles and protecting the electrostatic stage

  • Ionizer, in which the aerosols are electrically charged

  • Collector, where the charged oil and emulsion particles are separated

  • Neutralization filter that neutralizes the electrical charge of the cleaned air

The separated oil or emulsion is collected and can be returned to the machine’s coolant lubricant circuit – a clear advantage in terms of sustainability and resource conservation.

When is the E 800-1 the right choice?

The E 800-1 is ideal for applications with coolant lubricant pressures up to 40 bar.
For higher pressures or particularly fine aerosols, LTA recommends the two-stage versions (e.g. E 800-2), which integrate an additional ionization and collector stage.

This allows the filtration system to be precisely adapted to the respective process.

Low maintenance, high operational reliability

A significant advantage of electrostatic central suction is the minimal maintenance:

  • fully washable and reusable filter elements

  • flow-optimized, low-pressure-drop design

  • optional Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) systems for automatic cleaning

  • central maintenance points for easy maintenance

In combination with energy-efficient fans and intelligent control technology, the E 800-1 ensures reliable, economical continuous operation.

Conclusion

The E 800-1 is a powerful and sustainable solution for the central suction of oil and emulsion mist. With proven electrostatic filtration, high energy efficiency, and low maintenance, it is ideally suited for modern production environments with multiple machine tools.
